The strategy’s ambition is clear and measurable:

20% of the UK’s critical mineral demand should come from recycling by 2035.

The strategy makes it clear that secure recycling is no longer just an environmental choice, it’s an economic and national security priority.

We must unlock domestic material sources of waiting to be recycled, repurposed  and reused.
